Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation is grateful to the Children of Chornobyl Canadian Fund for the donation of $100,000.
The Legacy Pediatric Scholarship in Rehabilitation Medicine Endowment Fund is established at UCEF.
The Fund will provide the scholarship for students at the Ukrainian Catholic University, who will be willing to work at the Dzherelo Children’s Rehabilitation Centre in Lviv, Ukraine.
In 2018 eight Medical Rehabilitation Program students at the
Ukrainian Catholic University received scholarships sponsored by UCEF donors:
- 3 students supported by the Guardian Angels Ukraine Project of League of Ukrainian Women organization in Canada,
- 2 students supported by Eugene and Renata Roman, and their family in memory of Helen Roman,
- 2 students supported by the Children of Chornobyl Canadian Fund,
- 1 student supported by Rostyslav Shemecko and Oksana Miroutenko.
